EVER argued with your friends about who the greatest players to pull on a Hartlepool United shirt have been?
Now you can tell us who your fantasy XI would be and win a suitably fantastic prize at the same time.

  • Postal entries need to be sent to Pools' Team of the Century, Hartlepool Mail, New Clarence House, Wesley Square, Hartlepool TS24 8BX. or click this link to make your choice online.

We are looking for the club's Team of the Century as part of our coverage of the club's upcoming 100th birthday.

The Mail's experts have assembled a list of contenders for you to choose 11 players from.

What you need to do is pick one goalkeeper, a right back, a left back, two centre halves, at least three from the midfield categories and at least two from the centre forward section.

You can either tick the boxes below and send the coupon to the paper or you can go to our website and vote on-line.
Either way your selections need to be with us by first thing on Monday, November 26.

The most popular line-up will appear before Christmas in our special 100 Reasons Why We Love Pools souvenir publication.
There are also prizes on offer for the first adult and child entry drawn out of a hat which matches the fantasy XI.

The winning adult will receive a crate of Camerons Centenary Ale – created especially to mark the club's anniversary.

The lucky youngster will earn a day out at Pools – courtesy of sports shop giant JD – complete with two-match tickets, the chance to meet the team and a £25 JD gift voucher.
